(Photo by Supapong Chaolan)SURAT THANI - The conscript who died at a hospital in this southern province on Saturday was beaten up in an army jail, the commander of the 45th Military Circle in charge of the area said. Since an army officer was present throughout the time she talked to her son, she did not totally believe him. When they finally were alone, she asked her son again and he told he was beaten up. "That's all I can say," he said, leading her to believe he was beaten in the jail.
